Join Wipro Technologies as an AI Engineer L1 within our Technology Services sector, specializing in the Databricks practice under the TS - Applied AI & Data service line. Position Overview:

As an AI Engineer L1, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing data engineering solutions using Databricks. You will leverage your expertise in data engineering to build scalable and efficient data pipelines, enabling advanced analytics and AI applications. Your role will be fundamental in supporting the evolution of our business and technology capabilities, helping Wipro and its clients stay ahead in a rapidly changing digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust data pipelines within Databricks environments to facilitate various AI and data analytic workloads.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business analysts, to integrate data solutions seamlessly.

Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring high-quality data delivery to stakeholders.

Contribute to the architecture and design of data platforms that enable AI and machine learning projects.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to adhere to best practices and compliance standards.

Stay current with emerging data engineering technologies and AI trends, applying new knowledge to innovate and improve existing processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

3-5 years of professional experience in data engineering roles with strong proficiency in Databricks.

Hands-on expertise in building and managing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformation workflows.

Solid understanding of Spark architecture and performance tuning within Databricks.

Familiarity with cloud platforms and their data services, preferably Azure or AWS.

Experience working with structured and unstructured data sources, and proficiency in SQL and Python or Scala.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in diverse, inclusive environments.

Azure Databricks + Python+ SQL+ CI/CD Validation & Deployment Process

Job Description:

Required overall more then 5 years of experience

3+ years of Azure Databricks Experience

4+ years of working experience in Python

3+ Hands-on experience in working on Production Cloud Environment like Microsoft Azure

2+ years of solid experience designing and building Enterprise Data solutions on cloud

Experience in Reading and Loading Files into Cloud Environment from file formats such as .csv, JSON, .txt, Avro etc.

Microsoft Azure Platform Architecture, Azure Data Factory, SQL Expert

Subject matter expert on Cloud technologies preferably Azure and Big Data ecosystem

Experience with Data warehousing services on Azure

Experience in using modern software engineering and product development tools including Agile / SAFE, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, DevOps etc.

Solid experience of operating in a quickly changing environment and driving technological innovation to meet business requirement

Proven track record of building relationships across cross-functional teams

Proven excellent time management, communication, decision making, and presentation skills
