Position Summary

The Director, Strategic Partnerships & Commercialisation is responsible for shaping the customer, market, and technology adoption agenda across Korea, India, SSP, and ASEAN (KISA).

This role leads regional customer excellence, Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement, Voice of Customer (VOC), and commercialization initiatives that support adoption of priority technologies and sustainable business growth. Working closely with customers, healthcare leaders, country leadership teams, APAC Marketing, and Business Excellence stakeholders, the Director translates customer insights and market intelligence into actions that influence regional priorities, investment decisions, and growth strategies.

As a Director-level individual contributor, the role operates through influence and strategic leadership rather than direct authority, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for the KISA customer and market perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the KISA customer excellence strategy, including customer engagement programs, advocacy initiatives, and VOC capabilities.
  • Develop and govern regional KOL, Centre of Excellence, and customer advocacy networks aligned to growth priorities.
  • Drive commercialization and technology adoption strategies that improve launch readiness, adoption, and utilization of priority technologies.
  • Translate customer insights and market intelligence into actionable recommendations that influence business priorities and market development initiatives.
  • Establish regional frameworks, engagement platforms, and best practices that enable countries to strengthen customer engagement and adoption activities.
  • Build trusted relationships with physicians, healthcare leaders, KOLs, and strategic customers across the region.
  • Partner with Country Leadership, APAC Marketing, Business Excellence, and regional stakeholders to align priorities and accelerate growth opportunities.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen with experience in customer engagement, market development, commercialization, strategic partnerships, or technology adoption within healthcare or medical technology environments.

They demonstrate:

  • Strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Executive presence and influencing skills
  • Strong customer-centricity
  • Experience working across multiple countries and cultures
  • Ability to translate customer insights into business outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership capabilities

Success Measures

Success in this role will be demonstrated through:

  • Strength and effectiveness of customer, KOL, and advocacy networks
  • Impact of customer insights on business decisions and priorities
  • Commercialization effectiveness and technology adoption outcomes
  • Influence on regional strategy, investment, and growth initiatives
  • Contribution to KISA, APAC, and broader Neurovascular business objectives

Role Impact

This role plays a critical part in connecting customer insight, strategic partnerships, commercialization, and technology adoption to business growth. By strengthening customer advocacy, accelerating adoption of innovative technologies, and ensuring customer perspectives are represented in regional decision-making, the Director helps shape the long-term growth and market development agenda across KISA.
