Lead Voice AI Engineer

Remote (India) | Full-time | ₹40L - ₹60L per year (40-60 LPA)

Build voice AI that doesn’t just talk. It listens, thinks, and acts.

At Readyly, we’re building real-time voice agents that hold natural conversations and take real action mid-call. We’re hiring a Lead Voice AI Engineer to own the architecture.

What you’ll own

🎙️ Voice pipelines:

Streaming STT → LLM → TTS with natural turn-taking, barge-in, and VAD

Agentic workflows:

Tool-using, multi-step agents with LangGraph, Pipecat, or LiveKit Agents

MCP integrations:

Servers and clients connecting agents to APIs, CRMs, and databases

Telephony:

WebRTC, SIP, Twilio, and WebSockets for calling and in-browser voice

RAG:

Grounded answers from vector search, with no added latency

Performance:

Cut latency and cost, and debug dropped audio, hallucinations, and agent loops

Leadership:

Set the technical bar through design reviews and mentoring

What you bring

3+ years with Python, Node.js, and/or React.js

Experience with LLM APIs: tool calling, structured outputs, prompts tuned for speech

Real-time or streaming experience (WebSockets, WebRTC, audio)

Serverless deployment experience on AWS Lambda

A solid grasp of agentic AI: planning, memory, tool use, multi-agent coordination

Bonus points

MCP server experience

Pipecat, LiveKit, Vapi, or Retell

Indic-language voice (Hindi, Tamil, and more)

Telephony and call-center integrations (SIP, Exotel)

AI observability and voice-quality evaluation (WER, MOS)

AWS certification
