Oracle and Python Technology Lead - Vice President

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Senior Tech Lead (Oracle PL/SQL / ETL / Python)

We are looking for tech lead with good eperience in Oracle PL/SQL along with Python lnguage. He/she responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. He or she will also be working with Senior Oracle/PLSQL developers / DBAs, Angular/Java developers, and Automation engineers in building end-to-end solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Develop working knowledge of Citi’s information systems, procedures, standards, client server application development, network operations, database administration, systems administration, data center operations, and PC-based applications
• Assess applicability of similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures
• Conduct testing and debugging, utilize script tools, and write basic code for design specifications
• Analyze information and make evaluative judgements to recommend solutions and improvements
• Utilize knowledge of business processes, system processes, and industry standards to solve complex issues
• Identify and analyze issues, make recommendations, and implement solutions

Recommended Qualifications:

• 12+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development experience. Should have real time experience in performance tuning for critical backend processes.
• Basic Knowledge in logical and physical data models, maintenance of DDLs.
• Expertise in Oracle objects, PL/SQL code, and abilities to write complex SQLs.
• Must collaborate with server side/UI developers, and DBAs to develop end-to-end solution.
• Shoud have real time experience with data migrations.
• Experience in any ETL tool
• Experience in Data lineage, Data quality is an added advantage.
• Experience in Python is an added advantage

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
