The Role:

We are looking for an exceptional Product Manager to join our growing Global Product Team. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with a world class product team, evolving our leading global solar software product to fit the unique demands of the Indian solar revolution.

You will be responsible for gathering user requirements, market needs and feedback, synthesizing the requirements and defining high-impact features and product enhancements to help our users succeed . This role will offer you amazing product management experience and future career opportunities within our product team. This is a remote role based in India that will help shape the future of solar in the world’s most populous nation.

What you’ll be doing:

Design and own our user research process: a repeatable playbook that takes us from the first user conversation to validated, prioritised requirements, and can be reused for every new product area.

Enable others to do research well. Train and coach colleagues and partners who aren't PMs to run interviews, collect real artefacts like quotes, bills and drawings, and feed learnings back consistently.

Do the research yourself: interviews, workflow shadowing, quote and proposal teardowns, concept and usability tests.

Set up continuous feedback loops (support, sales, feature requests, product analytics) so learning doesn't stop at launch.

Be responsible for the delivery of the product strategy by operating as the Product Owner.

Collaborate heavily with the UI/UX team to ensure designs meet product standards.

Collaborate directly with the software development team and partners to ensure product designs are technically feasible and commercially viable, in keeping with the product requirements.

Gather user feedback (directly and indirectly via user research/support/sales teams)

Assess and synthesize user feedback to develop prioritised product recommendations.

Work with key strategic partners to understand their capabilities and needs, and develop prioritised product recommendations.

Gathering and validating product enhancement requirements. Constructively challenge stated needs to drive a robust set of requirements.

Produce thoroughly-defined development requirements for product enhancements.

Lead the creation and maintenance of requirements gathering and documenting templates.

Facilitate meetings and workshops with business and technical stakeholders to capture product enhancement requirements.

Effectively communicate requirements to stakeholders, managing conflicts, issues and changes in order to ensure that stakeholders and team members remain in agreement on solution scope.

Performing “as is” and “to be” process and gap analysis. Modelling/mapping of business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Assist in translating the product vision into a product roadmap, ensuring the roadmap is aligned with the strategic product vision.

What you’ll need:

4+ years of experience in digital product management, ideally working on delivery of mobile web/app based products.

A strong passion for understanding users and helping them succeed through intelligent product design.

Ideally hands on UI/UX design experience for both B2B and B2C customers

Experience facilitating workshops and eliciting business requirements and translating findings into User Stories and Documentation.

Experience deploying and maintaining mobile web/app stores

Desirable to have experience in energy tech or with low carbon technologies

Desirable experience of API integrations

Desirable experience implementing products that utilise AI tools

Experience facilitating user research to ascertain product requirements

Demonstrated best practice use of key business analysis documentation e.g. scope/ business requirements, detailed business requirements &/or solution design documents

Strong analytical, problem solving and insight generation skills.

Desire to challenge the status quo and develop innovative solutions.

Desirable experience implementing AI toolkits in Product Management practices.

Strong communication and listening skills.

Ability to work independently within a global team and a fast paced environment.
