About the Role

We’re hiring a

Founding Sales Development Representative

who can be a full-cycle sales superstar and do whatever it takes to bring customers in the door. This person should be scrappy, have a lot of hustle, and be able to use multiple channels (cold call, personalized email, LinkedIn, others) to source, nurture and convert leads across all stages of the funnel.

We’re looking for someone scrappy, metrics-driven, strategic; who will push really hard to drive outsized outcomes. This person will be our first sales hire and have the potential to grow into a sales leader in the organization.

What You’ll Do

Target and nurture marketing-qualified leads and sales-qualified leads to move them through the funnel and drive them towards conversion, using multiple channels/ (cold calling, email, LinkedIn, other creative ideas.)

Set and track key performance metrics across channels, campaigns & customer segments.

Run experiments across channels / messaging / strategies and iterate rapidly based on data & metrics.

Set up and optimize sales tools to drive highly effective prospecting, lead nurturing & conversion.

Taking lead on maintaining the sales CRM & continuously nurturing leads to drive conversions.

Consistently hitting very high activity metrics on a weekly basis across channels.

Achieving (and exceeding) quotas for meetings held with qualified leads .

Collaborating very closely with the entire GTM team and the founders on all aspects of GTM and being a thought partner to the team.

(Over time) Owning more of the full-cycle sales process, from lead generation to lead nurturing to taking sales calls and driving conversion.

What We’re Looking For

4-5+ years of experience in a sales role, ideally with at least 1 year in at an early-stage startup.

Experience leading the development, testing and implementation of sales strategies across all stages of the funnel, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment.

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas for held meetings, and driving meaningful revenue growth.

Strong understanding of prospecting, lead qualification, lead engagement and sales engagement tools.

Experience developing, measuring and analyzing key metrics to evaluate success of sales strategies.

Unparalleled hustle and the proven ability to be creative/scrappy/relentless to achieve sales goals.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and adapt quickly to change.

Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
