Senior Software Engineer

Morphle Labs is a YC-funded startup (W20) by IIT alumni building medical devices for cancer diagnostics — robotic microscopes and digital pathology systems. Market leader in India ahead of Philips, Roche and Leica, now expanding to the USA, Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

The Role

Lead research and development of control firmware for our robotic devices along with our web-based digital pathology viewer interface. Your interfaces will be used by AI engineers, data scientists, lab technicians, and medical professionals.

Our engineering focus

• 2D map-based imaging platform for visualization of pyramidal images with integrated deep learning algorithms
• Modular web-API-based architecture built with Django and Angular
• Low-level speed-optimised scanner software built with Java
• Robust image processing pipeline for best-in-class image quality
• Image-based machine learning algorithms with the highest accuracy, sensitivity and specificity

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor, Master or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 2+ years of experience with web frameworks and scalable data-heavy infrastructure
• Strong algorithmic and problem-solving skills
• Experience across all stages of development — idea to prototype to polished product
